Ich bin heute auf eine interessante Seite gestoßen…. Ich habe mich gewundert, warum es sowas wie Squidoo nicht in deutscher Sprache gibt. Und dann habe ich festgestellt: Sowas gibt es doch schon

Also wer gern Artikel über Hobby, wissenswertes, lustiges oder was auch immer schreiben möchte, sollte mal zu Page Wizz schauen. Anmeldung ist kostenlos und man kann sich noch nebenher ein Taschengeld durch die Werbe Einnahmen verdienen.

Ich habe mich mal angemeldet und werde ein paar Artikel schreiben

Ich bekomme jeden Tag sehr viele Spam Kommentare und es nimmt viel Zeit in Anspruch, diesen ganzen Kram zu lesen und zu löschen. Es tut mir leid, aber ich habe mich entschlossen, die Möglichkeit Kommentare zu schreiben zu deaktivieren.

Windows 7 – Tablett und Ring Animation

Dies ist ein kleiner Tipp für alle, die Windows 7 und ein drucksensitives Zeichentablett benutzen und – wie ich – zutiefst angenervt sind von der Ring Animation beim Zeichnen.

Wofür diese Animation gut sein soll, hat sich mir bislang wirklich noch nicht erschlossen Also weg damit

Nach dem Ausführen der Anleitung hat sich übrigens dann die Handschrift Erkennung auch verabschiedet, die sich sonst an der Seite des Bildschirmes oder unten in der Leiste befunden hat – aber ich werde sie ganz sicher nicht vermissen ….)

Vorab möchte ich ausdrücklich darauf hinweisen, dass Ihr natürlich alles was ich hier schreibe auf eigene Gefahr nachmacht.

Also – los geht’s

Unten links auf dem Bildschirm auf’s Windows Symbol klicken.
In das Textfeld “Stift” eingeben, dann auf “Stift- und Fingereingabe” klicken

Dort auf “Gedrückt halten — Rechtsklick” klicken, dann auf “Einstellungen” klicken und dann die Funktion “Gedrückthalten für Rechtsklick” (ganz oben) deaktivieren

“OK” klicken

So – damit haben wir den absolut nervigen silbernen Ring entfernt – nicht aber die kleine Kreisanimation.

Also – weiter geht’s

Auf das Windows Symbol in der linken unteren Ecke des Bildschirmes klicken.
Ganz unten in das Feld services.msc eintippen und Enter drücken

Im sich öffnenden Fenster runterscrollen bis auf “Tablet PC-Eingabedienst”.
Mit rechter Maustaste draufklicken und mit Rechtsklick auf “Eigenschaften” klicken.
Im sich öffnenden Fenster den Starttyp auf “Deaktiviert” ändern

Auf  “OK” klicken

Fertig

Last Saturday it arrived

When I first saw the box – I thought… “Who that thing is huge!!”
And I also thought “Maybe I should better have bought the small Cintiq.”

Then we read the manual (yes we did …)
And then we put it on my desk and installed the drivers.

Installation was very easy. No problems.

And then I was playing nearly the whole Saturday with it

It’s simply great! Fantastic!
It’s not to large. The size is perfect. And I’m glad now we bought the large one.

I tried it with all my applications I’m using for my work and I’ll use it for Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter and ZBrush. At the moment I’m not sure if I will also use it for Cinema. Maybe I’ll use my Graphire for that.

I never had any problems with using a regular tablet for my work. But beeing able to paint small details directly on the screen is so awsome. If you are working with Photoshop or Painter you will love the Cintiq. You will never go back to a regular tablet for your work.

I have it only a few days now and I’m so happy I have it and I can recommed it to people who may be interested in byuing a Cintiq.

Oh and you get Painter Essentials 3 together with it. I don’t need it, because I own Painter 9. But Painter is a really nice software.

Ok – let’s start with a few informations about me

My name is Kerstin, married, one son.
We live in the northern of Germany in a small village.

I’m working as a Freelancer. I’m modeling Poser clothes
and props and I make also textures for them.

I have my own stores I sell my items at Renderosity,
Daz and Content Paradise. But I also do commissioned
work for Daz and Smith Micro (Content Paradise)

For my “Poser Work” I’m using the following software:
Poser (of course …), Cinema 4D, Photoshop CS3 and
Illustrator CS3.

I also do a lot of 2D sets and designs. Brushes, textures
and background sets are available at the following stores:
